Words appear on screen as they are spoken, so you can follow along and stay engaged in the conversation without worrying about taking notes.

   Tap the transcription button on your Watch or iPhone before or during a meeting. Demi begins listening immediately — no setup or configuration required.

   As the meeting progresses, Demi displays a live transcript on your device. Words appear in real time, giving you a running record of the conversation as it happens.

   Save and review

   When the meeting ends, tap stop. Demi saves the full transcript and makes it available in your meeting history for review, export, or follow-up actions.

Demi does its best to distinguish between different speakers in the conversation. When multiple people are talking, the transcript labels each speaker so you can tell who said what. This is especially valuable when reviewing the transcript later to recall who made a commitment, raised a concern, or proposed an idea.

Every transcription is saved to your meeting history, where you can browse past recordings chronologically. Search through your transcripts to find specific topics, revisit decisions from weeks ago, or pull up notes from a conversation you had last month. Your transcripts are stored securely and are accessible only to you.

The real power of transcription comes from combining it with Demi's other capabilities. Once a meeting is transcribed, you can ask Demi to work with the transcript in a variety of ways:
