At the center of your home screen lives the Demi Orb — an animated, glowing sphere that serves as your primary way to interact with Demi. Tap it once to start talking, and Demi begins listening immediately. No wake words, no complicated gestures. Just tap and speak.

The orb shifts color to reflect what Demi is doing. When idle, it pulses gently in a calm ambient tone, letting you know Demi is ready and waiting. When Demi is actively listening to you, the orb brightens and responds to your voice. And when Demi is working on a task behind the scenes, the orb animates with a flowing motion so you always know something is in progress.

New to Demi, or just looking for inspiration? Sample prompts appear over the orb, rotating through examples of things you can ask. These suggestions are tailored to the integrations you have connected — so if you have Google Calendar linked, you might see "What meetings do I have tomorrow?" floating above the orb.

As you use Demi more, these suggestions become smarter and more personalized, surfacing the kinds of tasks you run most often. It is a great way to discover capabilities you might not have tried yet.

Below the orb, you will find a horizontally scrollable row of tool mode buttons. These let you narrow Demi's focus to a specific area before you speak. Available modes include:

Selecting a mode before speaking helps Demi give you faster, more relevant responses. You can also skip the mode selection entirely — Demi is smart enough to figure out the right context from your words alone.

Just below the tool mode buttons, you will see compact task cards for anything Demi is currently working on. Each card shows the task name, its current status, and a brief progress indicator. Tap any card to see more details about what Demi has done so far and what steps remain.

If a task needs your attention — like an approval request — the card highlights with a subtle badge so you never miss it.

Scroll down past the active tasks to find your message feed. This is where Demi posts responses, suggestions, completed task summaries, and follow-up questions. Think of it as a lightweight conversation log right on your wrist, keeping you informed without pulling out your phone.
